No, New Haven.

Try any of Pepe's, Sally's or Modern.

No one has to believe me, but it's the truth.

FWIW, NYC water comes from upstate and is well known to be the best in the country among large cities.

or Bar pizza. They're all good. I get tired of this argument. A lot of good pizza in the Northeast, but New Haven has some of the best

And the Boston area, some of the worst.

Ok so not very good. Gotcha.

It's prepaid and I am alone. I'll deal once.

FWIW Got the Sheraton for Tulane...

Eh, if you get in trouble with the local riff-raff you can always crash on my couch...only $35 a night! :)

If you ever get the opportunity to go to a Mellow Mushroom in the south, do it! It's a chain but boy is the pizza good. They have a great happy hour . Pepperoni slices to die for.

PIZZA AND THE SOUTH...cant compute

Truth. No sarcasm there. You guys clearly dont live in syracuse nor have had pizza in syracuse from anywhere other than dominoes.

Late to the party on this one. Sorry, man. I've lived in both places, know the food scene really well in both cities, and do my fair share of eating. Don't think it's close, and it's not in Syracuse's favor.

(Not saying you can't get an excellent slice in and around Syracuse, but New York's on a different level.)

CLEARLY...i hate to say it but none of the best pizza places in Syracuse are near the university..i will ALSO state that 95% of SU students dont leave a 1 mile area of the campus and never see whats outside of their bubble...sadly they dont know about Wine country, the adirondacks, the best pizza in the world, and some of the cheapest hookers this side of gary indiana

Though there's more than a little truth to this.

I would never call myself a "foodie"..but i am essentially. Syracuse is highly underrated for many things food. Our thai food rivals Toronto which has by far the best of any major city ive ever been to..our pizza is the best anywhere.

Very good and underrated food town, no doubt. Gianni's on Burnet is excellent and Mario's and Pavone's are quite good too.

We don't have enough of them yet...but our vietnamese food is outstanding here as well

Yessir. Kind of a quiet football experience, but we've been playing at a consistently high level for years and Hamilton's a nice place to catch a game on a fall Saturday when the leaves are changing. (Or, in my photo, when we're getting 16 inches of snow on a late-November Saturday.)

Also, yes: our Vietnamese scene might not have a ton of depth, but what there is is unmatched - Ky Duyen and New Century could go toe-to-toe with any joint in Northern Virginia or Houston or on the West Coast. They're that good.

Hamilton is a great town..Colgate's campus is beautiful in fall and winter without question. Ive gone to the stadium just to walk around and check it out..i do that wherever i go around the country..im obsessed with touring stadiums. I really like the small capacity stadium and need to get there for a game.
