Idk, Edelman is 200+ lbs. Pena is 180 soaking wet and I doubt he’s that heavy (or tall). There’s also a question of his durability. He’s often hurt.

There’s certainly been successful small WRs but these NFL guys just seem more physically put together. They’re all exceptional to.

I think it’s a longshot. Same with Allen. These positions are a dime a dozen.

Camp and preseason with Tampa Bay. He then signed with the CFL in 2020 but Covid caused cancellation of season.

Pena will get his shot, because teams will have to really see how he competes and how he processes.
When he gets to talk to them, they will look at film and he may show things beyond his size.

FYI, Zay Flowers (who is having a Pro-Bowl type season) is listed as 5'9", 182 lbs. I have come to appreciate that Pena has a similar ability to get open, catch the ball, and gain YAC.

His stuff plays well if he finds a team like Cincy or Minn or a few others if they have a QB that can see the field and the team has high level Wideouts that force teams into coverages that help the slot guys,

He would kill with KC the way Mahommes holds the ball looking around.

I think some teams may pass over Trebor because of his size (part of me wonders what kind of career he'd have had as a CB!), but I agree he's going to draft well and should have a solid career.

DeVonta Smith is another example that comes to mind. Slot doesn't have to be huge if they're consistently able to get in the right place at the right time with good hands.
