It’s the 4th quarter, Allen has just scored, Clemson has the ball there is a time out, Let’s Go Orange Chants are showering from the stands, The very loud Dome crowd is in full voice. At this moment the PA controller decides to crank some music out of the loud speaker, kills the atmosphere within 30 seconds. Unbelievable!

I said the exact same thing. What are they doing cranking up the music now.

That break was pretty bad. The LGO started and then it was drowned out by a promo for the Pitt game. Then it started again and it was drowned out by the PA (I forget about what but it wasn't an advertisement). Then it started a 3rd time and it was drowned out by music.

Another time the band started playing and they were drowned out by music.

BTW I like myself some DMX but that isn't the most PC or family friendly music to play.

But this all goes back to my point from earlier in the week. You have a BAND, why even play music?

It also annoys me that our PA guy thinks he is doing a radio play by play. I do not need a complete description of the prior play, I saw it. I also don't need the player's complete history after every play. I get a significant record, but nothing else. We also do not need to know who is in at QB before every drive.

He announced a first down run yesterday that was short. It w really 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 1. Oops.

We’re really a second rate production. I don’t know who’s responsible but they should go find out what other venues are doing.

The team intro is amateur hour too. Two lines of cheerleaders and bands that the team runs in between is usually how it’s done. And what happened to dimming the lights and intro music?

I realize we have to make money on all the ads and promos but it’s over the top. , watching Alabama Ole Miss last night during stoppages and dead balls all you could hear were drums and the band.

We should have some system of quality control. Every game there should be a review of what went right, what went wrong, etc. That fact that the issues are never fixed, makes me think we have no system in place.

The cartoon race and drone shell game are big fails. You can sponsor a real race on the field which is much more interactive. None of the stuff we do during commercials is interactive. None of it is entertaining. Everything is rushed. None of it allows the fans to organically get into the game. None of it allows the students to be proactive, the band to play, or the cheerleaders to lead cheers.

Add to that 3:30 min commercial breaks, which makes the above even worse.

Our team has actually been pretty decent the last 3 years, yet it feels like the Dome experience is at an all time low.

There are so many play stoppages an commercials that the Wi-Fi should work too. It’s a joke that it doesn’t. We used to watch/stream the games on YouTubetv while at the dome (and then we could watch replays etc during deadballs. Can’t do that anymore.

Furthermore why doesn’t the dome show replays? They NEVER show a replay on a flag call or a review call. Is that in a contract somewhere? Other venues show these things. Why isn’t the home camera showing a replay of the Alford catch on the sideline? No replays of the targeting call either.

I’m sure Mrs. Infanti is a very nice woman, but I don’t think she”s the right person for the job,

My ears were bleeding after the game.

A large part of the problem is the remote mic being too loud.

That being said there is zero reason for the remote mic. It adds no value. The PA announcer can say... These people are the seat upgrade winners. These people are the Turning Stone winners. These people are the restaurant winners. All while the remote camera is showing them.

When you attend a college football game these days, the repeated and long commercial breaks are definitely noticed, and get tedious over a long game, add reviews to that. Perhaps the best response is to drink heavily and not care? Ah, well, I want to make sure the networks do make as much $$$ as they can from college football, because their profits have been so good for cohesion of the sport.

The scoreboard also read "Quarter 1" for the first two or three minutes of the second quarter.

The same department that gets blasted by some of us for not advertising for the game, posting things misspelled on social media when they do post, is the same department that is in charge of this stuff at the Dome…

It’s all from the marketing department…

In my humble opinion, I believe that a change is needed from the head of the marketing department…………

But let’s make sure we keep the clock moving when play is (rarely) actually happening because these games can’t run so long.

Everyone plays music. If they're drowning out the band, they need to coordinate with the Dome production staff.

We actually like the truck race. We select our colors on the way into the Dome and “pretend” to take it very seriously when we win.

Not sure if her background lends itself to what is needed. Also not sure if the blame falls at her feet or a director under her

Or her

Her background indicates she has been in-house for her career and may not have the external exposure to different things
