We were Virginia Tech before they were Virginia Tech...STs is hideously bad. The first punt was nearly blocked, I said to myself...oh boy, this 2nd punt is getting blocked as they lined up.

Our special teams has to be the worst ST unit this program has had in last 20 years. Below average kicker, below average punter, average return specialists and about 10 blocked punts…..

Don’t forget we had two great returns last night too. Everyone wants to focus on the blocked punt. The kickoff and punt returns were huge.

It’s amazing how fewer punts he had compared to everyone else. Says a lot about our offense.

So this means we had at least 10% of our punts blocked (4 I think).

That’s….not ideal.

I don't remember the delay of game penalty, but I have no doubt it happened. But to your miserable point, when he left the staff in the middle of the season, the rumors on the board was he didn't seem to play well with others.
