Nobody said it was a question that wouldn't be asked. Ever. Not one poster.
You suggested that NIL constraints might be a disqualifier for Hodgson, which is counter to the handshake agreement that was in place when you were attempting to make that claim.
Hodgson is a hot commodity. He's asking for more, the same way that anyone who is offered a job makes a counter-offer. His asking for more isn't a red flag. The dysfunction behind the scenes is.
But now that things are in shambles behind the scenes, the adults need to take control and not let politics submarine things.
Don’t feel bad I said yesterday I had about as good as source as You could ask for even gave some context that BH was leaning PC and got hammered for it lol. I am no insider and would never claim to be, but If I was betting on this I would say BH will not be here next year. And he is who I want!So people like you are what make me dislike this place. You want information or not ?
I can't wait until we start winning again, we can all stop fighting with eachother.
lolol. no, its exactly what i said until you twisted it to fit your argument. i see you edited your post. lol.

I guess you could say they could turn into a UConn type of program. But UConn had much more success previous to Hurley.I think that is the key. It's been said that Providence has a few whale donors that have gotten them to $14MM this year. What about after that? BH isn't going to go to Providence for a one year promise.
I wanted South Florida yesterday for the same reasoning. But now I'm good. Time for the season to end and see what happens. That is why I was sort of hoping Wichita State won, but I knew that would be a tougher sell to the casual fan base because then they would say GMac made the tournament and our new coach couldn't. I didn't want people to be asking that question over and over again. So it was sort of a double-edged sword for Syracuse. We wanted him to have success, so our hire looks better to fans and media, but now that he is getting that success, it is going to cost us more.
We're at 30 though remember ! and I've heard we can be at 60 if we get our whales and Micron on board. Also put me in for 10 Grand when my quickdraw #'s come in.Yeah if Providence is at 14 million Hodgson is honestly dumb to not take it. He’d be top 5 nationally money wise.
I usually check the weather when I wake up in the morning. I assume most people do.but he asked. like i said. it's going to be part of the discussion with any coach anywhere in today's game. even gmac asked about nil at lil old siena.
That's it, they are taking a shot in the dark. They've never been anything and they never will be anything.I guess you could say they could turn into a UConn type of program. But UConn had much more success previous to Hurley.
Also, if Providence is so jacked up with NIL why did Cooley flee to Georgetown?
Yeah if Providence is at 14 million Hodgson is honestly dumb to not take it. He’d be top 5 nationally money wise.

That was 3 years ago. PC is clearly making an effort to bring in and spend more money than they were at that point.I guess you could say they could turn into a UConn type of program. But UConn had much more success previous to Hurley.

Also this doesn’t include the cost of the buyout of their former coach which is another $4mm.Yeah if Providence is at 14 million Hodgson is honestly dumb to not take it. He’d be top 5 nationally money wise.
Very very good take. This is where we’re at by the sounds of it.Lets play hypothetical
Providence is offering 5-year, 25-million-dollar contract and a 14-million-dollar NIL year 1
-and-
Syracuse is offering 5-year 25 million contract and a $12 million dollar NIL deal year 1
Would you still pick Providence or would you say if it is that close I will take Syracuse and if I turn around Syracuse and we start to win again that 12 million dollars is more stable and could expand? Whereas I am not sure the Providence number will ever get bigger and maybe a 1 year push only?
If duke is in the 12 to 15 mil range there is no way providence is coming up with 14 mil. It's a lie. That’s a big ”IF”
Bryan...If duke is in the 12 to 15 mil range there is no way providence is coming up with 14 mil. It's a lie.

Theoretically, but I think it was Scooch that posted an article that not all of the basketball-only schools can come up with the entire $20 million revenue sharing. They have 20 mill in revenue sharing they can use as much of that as they want for BB. Then include any donor/fan support $.
That assumes that they are using full rev share. They are not. UConn had the best situation in the BE this year and they were at maybe 12 TOTAL. People here are throwing around a number only Duke and UK spend. They have 20 mill in revenue sharing they can use as much of that as they want for BB. Then include any donor/fan support $.
