I think that is the key. It's been said that Providence has a few whale donors that have gotten them to $14MM this year. What about after that? BH isn't going to go to Providence for a one year promise.

I guess you could say they could turn into a UConn type of program. But UConn had much more success previous to Hurley.

That is why I was sort of hoping Wichita State won, but I knew that would be a tougher sell to the casual fan base because then they would say GMac made the tournament and our new coach couldn't. I didn't want people to be asking that question over and over again. So it was sort of a double-edged sword for Syracuse. We wanted him to have success, so our hire looks better to fans and media, but now that he is getting that success, it is going to cost us more.

Providence is offering 5-year, 25-million-dollar contract and a 14-million-dollar NIL year 1

Syracuse is offering 5-year 25 million contract and a $12 million dollar NIL deal year 1

Would you still pick Providence or would you say if it is that close I will take Syracuse and if I turn around Syracuse and we start to win again that 12 million dollars is more stable and could expand? Whereas I am not sure the Providence number will ever get bigger and maybe a 1 year push only?

That assumes that they are using full rev share. They are not. UConn had the best situation in the BE this year and they were at maybe 12 TOTAL. People here are throwing around a number only Duke and UK spend.
