The other one, and I won't say his name because well because, would unite this board in a good way. We would all love this pick. maybe it is just spin but the thing is, it didn't come from the Syracuse side of things. Oh, and the reason I won't say the name is because 1. I wouldn't want to jinx it and 2. the grief I would take if it doesn't happen.

I dont think it is so much Blair that is the problem. I think it is all the people donating NIL that would be the biggest question marks. I imagine that if Dashers name is big enough, it wouldn't be a problem, but I feel with any of the other coaches, Martelli Jr, Steele, and Murray, we wouldn't get the same NIL push we would with GMac.

Can somebody please fill me in on the connection for T. J. Otzelberger and this job? I can't for the life of me understand why he would leave the B12 and a $4 million a year salary for Syracuse and their apparent disaster of an NIL situation. Did he grow up a Syracuse fan in Milwaukee?

That's the name that comes to mind for me also. But I'm not sure it will unite the board totally. There are some dead set on Gerry vs anyone.

People may forget day 1 of the tourney with gmac if a coach like TJ is paying in the final 4.

I think that is true. I don't think we would get the Nil push with candidate number2 but maybe we would.
