Is it reasonable to assume that Blair has had a number of interviews, probably most by Zoom, and he has a favored choice that he wants to meet again before he closes the deal? And is it reasonable that negotiations are ongoing?

These deals can be closed quickly (e.g. Fran Brown) I think that there are delays because you have a new athletic director who has been on the job for less than two weeks making the biggest decision of his career. I would imagine he is taking some caution in making his decision. Good for him.
