Kline staying does change the pool of candidates. I think in a more good way than not. Like it may turn off some guys that have their own guy in that position. However, it may widen the pool of candidates who are very good coaches that have programs who have fallen behind without the GM and infrastructure. Syracuse in 2023 needed a program rebuilder as a higher priority, Autry has kind of done that. Syracuse in 2026, needs a good coach. If Autry can’t do that, get a coach that will succeed with the GM and infrastructure in place.Kline isn’t tied to Autry so he’s staying regardless.
