But didn't use all of it. Does that give a head start for next season?Adrian and staff raised $9m this past offseason. They did their job on that

Yes but they could be OUR peas next year. The thumbnail for that clip looks like a bag of frozen peas at a quick glance.
Well… How racist is he? And how much does he love live music? The wings won’t help because both are very good. After seeing him, my only question is if he's a Shifty's guy or a Swallow's man.
Unlike some people, how you treat people in subordinate positions is something that matters to me. It says alot about your character. Anyone can be all gracious and kind to someone who wields some form of power or influence.Ok yeah sure. Mick Cronin is interested in the Syracuse job. Well sorry Mick, Steve thought you were a stooge because you had an attitude with a reporter asking dumb questions after a complete blowout.
Who cares about your 4x coach of the year awards. Who cares about your 16 tourney wins. Who cares about your 514-240(.682) career record.
You guys kill me with your moral superiority attitudes.
An edge? An edge isn’t clutching your pearls cause a reporter supposedly “raised his voice”. Thats not tough.. that’s weak ass crap gas lighting bs that I don’t want any part ofThe search committee is doing a poor disservice to the entire Syracuse basketball community if they aren't considering the Mick Cronin's of the world. I've made the comment a few times that most successful coaches have an edge to them. We don't need a nice guy. We need a coach who is a proven winner.
Sure let’s do red Autry now. Hopkins is a better coach than red. I would like other candidates first but at least hop got them to the dance.Mike Hopkins went to 1 NCAA tournament in 7 seasons at Washington. Fans are not hating; those are facts. The fact that he's even brought up as a serious candidate is irresponsible and prompts this discussion. It's exhausting and unnecessary.
Facts. No sense continuing to argue the same points over and overSome people need to chillax. It's almost over. Have a drink...sit back...focus on a hobby...See what happens in March.

AD hired a really bad basketball coach. But let’s point the finger at mike Hopkins. If hop was so bad he wouldn’t get a look in the nba
He’s essentially our Quin Snyder
Agreed. Some people are just meant to be assistants. You see it in all sportsHop is bad -- really bad.
His maximum level has proven to be assistant coach. He excels in that role. As a head coach, not so much.
Truly, anybody suggesting he would be a solid candidate to be head coach here needs their head examined.
He's not Quinn Snyder, who has had extensive success as a HC at both the college and NBA level. He's not even Dee Snider.

That comment is just Twisted...SisterYou and I are often on the same page, but not on this.
Hop is bad -- really bad. And it isn't "hating" to point that out, just because he's an alum.

I know Hop is with the Pelicans and maybe the NBA is a good place for him, but I can't help thinking that if he wanted to try and be a college head coach again if something on the East Coast would be more in his wheelhouse. Not Syracuse but maybe like a UMass or a St Bonaventure. You and I are often on the same page, but not on this.

Took you for more of a B-52s guy. That comment is just Twisted...Sister
The whole buy out thing would be on Wildhack. Why would any business give any inexperienced rookie head coach a multi year contract with no performance stipulations? Syracuse has done this repeatedly to their detriment.Okay. Once again, he isn't going to come here for free. And we have to buy Red out. With what money.
That would be more like divorce. You mean like in a marriage?

In marriage, she is right, you are wrong and there is no point in arguing.
Guys think really hard if you want another team built around Donnie with a new coach. When the injury bug hits and the momentum gets rolling the wrong way where has he been? Sleeping for 5-10 game stretches at a time.I wouldn’t be so sure. If Donnie stays for another year in college and we hire Hodgson as our head coach, he might stay. Hodgson was his recruiter at Bama.
Think this is probably true, but unless I just skimmed past his name, I don't think he's even on Givony's top 100 prospects right now. I haven't seen a reputable mock that has him getting drafted in months.I doubt Donnie’s coming back: he will declare and test the waters. Red’s coaching won’t be held against him. If he doesn’t get good reviews, he’ll go elsewhere.
When JB was in his prime I think most of us just looked the other way. Winning trumps all.The Venn diagram of folks that loved those traits in JB but have a problem with them in Hodgson would be... interesting.
Bring him back with official title “associate head coach/good cop”Pass
