Hopkins in Syracuse this weekend.
I hope he's just visiting his in-laws. LOL
Hopkins in Syracuse this weekend.
I hope Tirico is spending more time on Cuse than the Olympics. He better get his priorities in order.there's some big names on that committee. lally, ensley, tirico, ballentine, etc. i'm sure they'll be fine without us. besides, and someone can correct me if im wrong, but i think they're more engaged with the financial package and not necessarily the who unless it's a question of morals or something.
BC btw has literally zero NIL. It’s revenue sharing and between their major sports, they don’t spend the 20.
The only good optics move is if we poach a coach with a top 25 team. Anything less is varying degrees of hope and cope. The optics of hiring Hop would be 10x worse than hiring GMac. We'd be a laughing stock program, yet still stuck in the past.
He’s not. Hes doing a lot more than thatI hope he's just visiting his in-laws. LOL
That’s what I said a week or so ago, you couldn’t find worse timing for a JW retirement if the AD isn’t already quietly been named. lame duck AD hiring a coach is a horrible idea
Hop to BC would be a better fit for him. Feels very much like Tim Welsh to Providence a couple of decades ago.Hop interviewing at BC. They want him apparently. But he’s making waves for cuse job too. He’s got full court press on
Having dinner with them too? He’s not. Hes doing a lot more than that
Then he still gets fired. You assess his entire performance all years. Doesn't matter if somehow he suddenly makes some ACC run.Dont disagree. But if they somehow, beat the cards, win 2 big games in the ACC tourney then what? Agree the odds are very very low on the above
Girard got better here. We just didn’t use him correctly.
I may have some leftover nachos to make you feel better
I believe that is correct.there's some big names on that committee. lally, ensley, tirico, ballentine, etc. i'm sure they'll be fine without us. besides, and someone can correct me if im wrong, but i think they're more engaged with the financial package and not necessarily the who unless it's a question of morals or something.
No an excuse for Freeman but numbers of games played makes this the end of his freshman year. And we all know about freshmen.
The West Point guy just signed an extension the other day I believe, so he’s out of the running unfortunately.I have to think that if it's the West Point guy, who I believe had a meeting up here a month ago, that part of the interview would be he and Wildhack talking about the basketball coaching situation and potential candidates.
If they haven't done that, that would have been a mistake.
But of course, it's premised on who SU knowing who the want to hire, but just can't do it publicly because people are still employed until June.
If those nachos come with assurance that we go outside of the Syracuse tree for our HC then I might consider!I may have some leftover nachos to make you feel better
Also, I would be very surprised if it’s not Lykes. Not ideal but that’s what I keep hearing. The West Point guy just signed an extension the other day I believe, so he’s out of the running unfortunately.
I totally get that. That’s why I’ve said over and over that Wildhack had no choice in the hire. So I don’t blame him for this mess.I hope that you understand that if they stayed in house, they would have been absolutely killed in the media for passing over Red. He was the Associate HC, not Gerry.
Freeman is now showing what he really is as an ACC player. He played a couple of games last year. No one really knew what he was. His effort is telling by the fact he has 16 total offensive rebounds for the entire season. That’s very telling. That’s less than one a game. Schools have figured him out and he’s not mentally tough and doesn’t adjust well to the way teams are prepared to play him. The coaching staff hasn’t helped him either. How they didn’t have a plan EVERY time he was doubled yesterday is beyond me. He should have known his couple of options every time he was doubled. He acted surprised.
How? She was fired at pitt for not raising nil money lol. How is she even in the running? Also, I would be very surprised if it’s not Lykes. Not ideal but that’s what I keep hearing.
Because her position this past year was basically preparing her to take over eventually. How? She was fired at pitt for not raising nil money lol. How is she even in the running?
It’s a coach killing job. Hop must be desperate.
Not saying I’m in favor or agree with it, just sharing what I’ve heard from multiple sources even before Wildhack announced his retirement. How? She was fired at pitt for not raising nil money lol. How is she even in the running?
She was fired at pitt for a reason. Are we really going to hire someone who pitt didn't even want?Because her position this past year was basically preparing her to take over eventually.
