If you had a million dollars to donate to Syracuse basketball NIL, and you could influence the coaching search, you wouldn't watch a few games for the coaches in question do that you would know more than the statistics?

Josh Schertz isn’t coming to Syracuse for less NIL. If he comes it’s because BB and Cuse will get him 12-15mil in NIL a year and a 5yr $25mil contract

Cuse finally realizes that if they don’t start winning in football and men’s basketball, we won’t be big time in 3years…we will become part of the G4

In the post game presser today he literally mentioned how teams waste NIL and Michigan does a great job of roster building with their money. Schertz knows exactly what $$$NIL he needs and he has no reason to take less than that number anywhere. Someone will meet that number soon enough

Schertz with a middle of the pack ACC budget gets us dancing IMO. Then year 2 he's getting the NIL Gerry would have gotten, if it's even an issue.

Yes he will. There is a huge portion of the fan base who have had it with the boeheim tree. If they had a chance to get the better and coach and didn't there will.be backlash. If Schertz says no and it's gmac whatever.

Yeah and the amount of money Id need to throw a milly a year at NIL is so obscene I would be going to like every Cuse football game, every Eagles game, probably 15 Cuse hoops regular season games and every postseason game, and so forth. I'd certainly have time to watch a Saint Louis game or three.

They did watch games when GMac was a player and then they watched him coach a good first half against Duke. That is enough, don't need to watch anyone else or consider anyone else. They won the first half versus Duke, good enough for Syracuse.,

I'll put it this way. I'm a teacher su isn't relying on the little nil I can donate. If they dont pick the best candidates my decision is easy. Fran Brown gets all of my nil money.

Well then you could pay a decent high school coach like $1K to watch a few games and report back.

Why? I am a first time NIL donor with fond memories of Gerry and just saw him punch Duke in the face,
First time donors are doing this because they believe that Gerry can rescue our team,
They have no emotional attachment to Schertz.
Just telling you what the boatload of new NIL donors who are supporting Gerry might think.
Thus the holdup in getting NIL for Schertz.
