Let's wait and see who actually shows up on campus next year to play for Gerry. That's part of the problem convincing players to play for you with a limited track record. And its going to take at least through the tournament in Las Vegas to have any idea of what next years team will be. Until then I will be optimistic that this is a good move.

I agree - and they kept it safe and went with who people know. It sounds like the people who don’t know those schools exist would be instantly turned off by the hire. That kind of apathy makes it easy for the admin to play it safe and go with what people know.

Winning is harder - but BH/Schertz would put people in th seats with their basketball product, it would just take a little bit to implement. Gerry puts people in the seat right away and we can worry about winning(or losing) later. The Admin loves that .. makes Their job so easy when picking a coach

Ryan Moesch is a lot better than I think people on here realize. Have not heard a negative thing about him. Just watched Braden Smith led Purdue team. Similar high school progressions and rankings.

We need to add big time talents, shooters and athletes. Adding a couple of Siena kids and a couple middle tier portals aren’t going to cut it. We have to find higher end talent.

6'0" 170 pound guard. Providence was his best offer from what I am reading. Maybe with time he will be great. But if we have all this NIL that everyone is talking about, I hope he is a minor piece of the puzzle for next season.

I don't think you actually do. I think you just jump on the bandwagon of whatever position you like. I live in the Albany area, you've watched these guys enough to know they can play 30 games at the D1 level and not get overwhelmed? We have guys on our current roster that are significantly bigger, faster and stronger that looked like they shouldn't be playing at this level at times.

I watch a lot of basketball, I've watched a lot of Siena, I've watched a lot of Syracuse, I've watched a lot of the ACC. My eyes don't deceive me. Can they be on a 13 man ACC roster? Sure. Are they night in night out high level ACC players? No they are not.

When Duke decided to play in the second half Doty shot 1-9 and Folefac 2-7. Moesch can't hold a candle to Joe Girard.

To win in the ACC requires that first half effort every night out; both halves.

Doty could end up adding 10lbs of muscle in the offseason, and with our NIL number he ends up being our 4th scoring option.

Just because they are coming doesn’t mean they are our top players. I don’t think GMac wants that either …..
