BertrandSure but who is that 6-8 spot now?
The OL room is looking real light these days
outside of that 5 you listed who is left?
Byron Washington and Josh Miller? Who else am I missing?

I think we have bigger holes at corner. If we can’t get a veteran guy to hold the room down, then we’re looking at multiple penalty’s a game and blown coverages.
It doesn’t seem his character but unless he know this is going to be a tough year and isn’t just handing out money because we have it. I’d rather see him save it in the war chest for 2026. The positions i would pay for would be QB, OT, WR, DE, DT. Rest can be worked around. He have to find a way to maintain our recruiting hits. I’m sure it had more to do than just money but hitting on a kid like Watson only to see him leave when he should really start to excel hurts. Peña is more of a whatever , but we can’t get our best players picked off every year. If that becomes a trend it won’t matter how well we recruit.I'm on the outside and I don't know anything.
But it appears to me so far that Fran doesn't have the money he had last year. You would have hoped to hold on to 2 or 3 of those linemen.

I’m willing to bet we had the talk with at least half, maybe more, of the OL that left.Yeah, I get your point, but we just lost a starting DT, our starting center, and 2 other OLs who started at times last year. It's easier and better to keep the kids you already have because they know the system, and you know them. That's worth spending some money on. Nobody's paying $2M for a lineman, but we need to keep more of the guys we've got.

exactly, kids are going to come and go at every position. Just the way it goes. The O line coach is fine.Except didn't a kid he coached at Louisville decide to transfer in?
It does hurt to loose depth but horsby, wolenbaug (sp) and Cruz are all in their last year of eligibility and were not slated to start. I do not blame them for leaving. The staff already grabbed one potential replacement who may start and I would expect at least one more. They also just might not be good enough.
Who is Watson?Yeah, not Reed, not Cruz, not Watson, not Wohlabaugh, but if he didn't want to play C, ok, I get it.
But we lost 3 other very good guys.
Freshman All-American Defensive Tackle.Who is Watson?
They have brought in 13 of the 16 OL the last two recruiting cycles. They’ve turned over the unit on purpose.Something isn't right. OL is a development position, yet, 10 OL have left since last year.
He’s not an OLFreshman All-American Defensive Tackle.

Other than Reed that is correctBingo and a lot of them did not leave for $$$$$$$$. In fact I do not think a single OL left for more $$$$$
Well we can put Codie on the board as one who did from his tweet.Bingo and a lot of them did not leave for $$$$$$$$. In fact I do not think a single OL left for more $$$$$
Same. He’s got an adorable little girl. Being the best father matters a whole lot more than football. Hope he finds a good spot or has success in whatever he does.Good luck to Codie.
Fair to say the Louisville transfer was brought in to be the starting Center and Codie is portalling to find his own starting spot?Same. He’s got an adorable little girl. Being the best father matters a whole lot more than football. Hope he finds a good spot or has success in whatever he does.
