I guess. When I'm taking about taking a leap, I was expecting Bell to be lights out vs the likes of Colgate. He looks very similar to me

The fact that the last 4 matchups vs Colgate have produced 2 losses and 2 narrow victories tells you all you need to know about the most recent past and current state of Syracuse basketball. Kind of stinks we’ve been witness to the slow decline of a once great program.

He is athletic and has quick feet, why can't he stay in front of ANYBODY?

It was our withering pressure D that led to his stumble.

The only 2 good things -

1. Choppa
2. Red showing a willingness to stick with Choppa down the stretch over the veteran guards. It tells me he will go with the hot hand

Coming into the season it looked like Taylor would be the rotation guy and Moore would be the situational one, but Moore's winning the battle right now.

The offense runs through our friggin center because the PG can't create vs the likes of Colgate.

Yeah. Last year everyone was saying, give Red time to get his guys. We'll he's got his guys this year and we are somehow worse. I'll tell you that if we win less than 21 games this year...he needs to be on the hot seat

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. I chuckled reading that, but inside it hurts.

Honestly, I'd settle for a team full of cool looking players at this point. We could still suck really bad (like we usually do), but at least could we have some cool, kinda fun guys.

JJ looks cool. Freeman looks cool. That's about it. Davis and Lampkin look like old dudes that dominate rec leagues cuz they've been spending too much time at the buffet since they hit middle age. The rest all kinda look like weird mediocre basketball playing clones of each other. Except the euro. But even he doesn't look cool. Could they at least make him wear a headband or something?

No chance Donnie plays here as a sophomore if Reds gonna bench him like that and keep him Benched when Davis plays that bad.

Kind of think we'll lose to Youngstown it's been so ugly.

If Donnie was playing at the end, we probably lose. Jyaire was the only one doing anything.

yes. They would not allow a team of theirs to play that kind of defense.

If playing man is going to produce open layup after open layup you might as well go back to the 2-3.At least it is more difficult to hit a three than wide open layups.

There’s too many players

There's no such thing as too many players. If we had that many good players, we wouldn't be beating Colgate by 2. We need players. We need guys to buy in and play to win basketball games for Syracuse University, not their highlight reel. Bell's hanging on the rim BS was for show, it was the dumbest play in 10 years. It turned a potential missed layup into a three point play. These guys need to want to win games.
