I just don't see what Mike Waters saw when he told the guys here we'd be good.

This is just not a talented team. It was obvious when we were being scolded in the offseason, we were getting second tier portal guys.

The only way it was going to work is if Bell and JJ made the leap and they look like the EXACT same players.

Hoping for Red's sake this doesn't meltdown.

this could be the worse defensive team we have had, even when we played 2-3.

bell and moore struggle to move side to side. lampkin is cooked on P&R and doesn’t even have enough in him to move over a few steps and attempt to block (or be there already).

and to emphasize the points others have said, this is wear a guy like judah mintz or quadir is missed. no guard can penetrate the paint when we need a bucket.

also why are we going under in every screen ?? and why didn’t we readjust.

Devo was so mad…he called out the lack of help defense and the awful defense on screens every possession. I don’t get how we can be that bad.

I love when a Syracuse Colgate game has to come down to hoping their player trips over their own feet on the final possession. That tells me we have arrived.

When you CONTINUALLY allow a guy to drive from beyond the three point line to the basket without help, you have no concept of defense. To be fair, we also don't have an offense. This free wheeling, let the players play BS, is non-coaching. You have to teach the guys what their responsibilities are.

Honestly, it's coaching. Red can be head coach, but we need assistants that know how to coach basketball AND recruit.

This team has now struggled and gotten lucky to beat Le Moyne and Colgate.
There is no way they can even play with any top team.

And the only tournament they can look forward to might be the World Sauna Championship.
