Driving to work the other day, I had ESPNU radio on and they were discussing how misplaced the “greed” angle is towards the ACC/SEC/Big XII forging forward with a season. They stated, at best, the teams will break even if they play due to testing costs and no fans. The benefit is giving kids a season and, yes, there is one sinister motive... getting a full season in would seriously wound the B1G.

It is also to his advantage to keep this info quiet until game time, so the opponent can’t prepare for it.

Hoping that if SU has more players opt out, and they are contributors, that they do the same thing. It hurts the team to release that info early.
