Clemson took a bath this season. Had somewhere in the neighborhood of 8/10 decommits but I found this one interesting. Kid flipped to Michigan because he said the Clemson class wasn’t that good.



Rivals has Syracuse rated 7th in the conference this year, I think that’s our highest ever.

GT threw some big money around this year. FST sucked lost a lot of commits and still 3rd.

Funny that a kid would decommit because he was the premier recruit at his position.

Kids want to win. Dabo being stubborn and not working the portal is going to be the death of them. I say he'll be out at Clemson within 3 years. Either on his own or forced out.

On another note, having 36 commits is what has Syracuse at 6th in the ACC recruiting. Far more than other schools. Also, doesn't look like we will work the portal as much as last year.

As long as we land a few impact portal dudes at positions of need, disco!

The thing is nobody knows if we need a QB or not. If Kyle opts out of the bowl game we should get a good look as to what we are easing with, our back up would be a 5th year senior as well. Could be worse and definitely going to defer to Fran here

I agree, disco fries would be a good addition. Any thoughts on a new kicker?!

Yes. I think some posters will be disappointed with how many fewer portals we take this cycle.

Last year at this time we had a portal player announce almost every day. It was crazy watching the staff work at shoring up the '24 high school class and simultaneously pull in a huge, quality portal class. It was an amazing body of work, which will pay dividends as long as Fran Brown is coaching here (may it be 30 wonderful years).

With the uptick in high school recruiting, we won't need that many guys this year.

I think we'll get a few starters in the portal, whereas last year, half of our two deep came through the portal. Many of the guys we picked up in the portal last season that haven't played yet will be on this year's two deep.

Even a really high energy, workaholic staff can't do what they did last December month after month, year after year.

We dont need as many portal kids this year. We need a center LBs and a RB. QB if its a good fit

We 100% need a QB. The QB room will be too inexperienced otherwise.
