I really like this pair.
Whenever Bilas does a game I'm LOL every few minutes - the guy is flat out the best!I really like this pair.
Bilas really knows his Cuse hoops. He was rattling off all these names from the late 70s before the game started, and spent a solid minute talking about Stevie Thompson.

Dont forget there are some people that believe that Bilas hates SU and he talks smack about us at every chance.

Stevie Thompson played like he was a quick, athletic 6 foot 8 when he went down low.Bilas LOVES Stevie Thompson. It's not the first time I've heard him mention him, and other times have been when SU wasn't even playing.
And why not? What's not to love? He was amazing.
We basically ran a 3-guard system with him at "small forward", but lost nothing on D, on the boards, and Stevie could board and finish in traffic better than anyone his size, ever. Too bad he couldn't shoot or hit FT's.
I don't think I've ever encountered one. But maybe I'm just hanging out in the the wrong places.Dont forget there are some people that believe that Bilas hates SU and he talks smack about us at every chance.

Especially with the NCAA news coming out today. Cannot wait to hear Bilas rip the NCAA once again.
Bilas DID rip the NCAA for their overly harsh penalties against our relatively pedestrian infractions.
He also went off on them for their botched handling of the Diallo situation.
I think that Bilas, perhaps unintentionally, will be a catalyst for the eventual / inevitable change that topples the NCAA. I say unintentional, because I don't think that he's setting out to do it, but he uses his bully pulpit to call the NCAA out on their hypocrisy and capricious, arbitrary enforcement of the rules.
If I remember correctly, his vertical was 44". Said it before and I'll say it again that he was my favorite SU player ever.Stevie Thompson played like he was a quick, athletic 6 foot 8 when he went down low.
Yep. You said it better than I did. Thanks.Bilas DID rip the NCAA for their overly harsh penalties against our relatively pedestrian infractions.
