I saw where tents will be set up around campus where people can get pre-screened and a wrist band before entering the Dome. I believe there will be one set up in the West lot? Also, will they be doing antigen testing on campus before the game? TIA

I read and i dont recall where, perhaps an email regarding my tickets the university sent a few days ago but one thing was clearly stated. There will be no testing provided at all in those tents for the game. The tents are purely for validation of either having had the shot/showing your record OR showing your test results per what they wanted.

Oburg...this was from the email I referred to in my prior post. This was from 9/4/21.

Children ages 4 and under do not require a vaccination or a test result to enter the stadium.

To expedite the stadium entry process, fans must visit a pre-screening tent to show proof of vaccination or negative test results to receive a wristband, which is required for entry. Pre-screening tents will be located at the Skytop and Manley parking lots, West lots and on the Quad. These tents will open four hours prior to kickoff. No COVID tests are available onsite.

Mask Requirements:

All students, faculty, staff and visitors are required to follow Syracuse University's campus masking framework. At this time, any individual on campus must wear a mask at all times indoors, except when actively eating or drinking. Outdoors, individuals must wear masks when in the presence of others. This includes during 'Cuse on the Quad and while tailgating

So will the masks be “enforced” like they were at the state fair or??

heavy emphasis on the quotation marks

actively eating or drinking.. so drink put mask back on.. just holding a beer is not enough.. though i kinda doubt they enforce it..

It depends and remains to be seen. I read the Rose Bowl required masks but there was no compliance and no enforcement

I put a call in to see if the tent will be in North or South Manley. Will update when I get. A call back

Why not have two tents. They load busses from two places.

Has there been any clarification on what constitutes “proof of vaccination”? I’m not in NY, so I don’t have the excelsior app or whatever it’s called. I have a picture of my vaccine card on my phone, and I’m hoping that’s enough. I really don’t want to have to bring the original.

It's in the link I provided.

Acceptable Forms of Vaccination and Testing Proof:
A printed copy or a digital version (i.e.: New York State Excelsior Pass, emailed test results on your smart phone or a photo of a vaccination card) of proof of vaccination or negative test results will be accepted.

Fans must also bring a valid government issued identification to present to stadium staff. Proof of vaccination or COVID test results must match the name on a fan's identification.

Basically:
  • Covid Vax Card
  • Photo of Vax Card
  • Digital version of NYS Excelsior Pass
  • Printed copy of NYS Excelsior Pass

Proof of vaccination and testing can be done through printed proof or a digital version such as an e-mailed test result or a photographed vaccination card.

I wonder if my 12+ aged kids will be ok with simply their excelsior pass since they don’t have ID’s

damn, I bet they didn’t even think about that…

probably will either need birth certificate or social security card? Maybe?

I would hope they just accept the proof of vaccination though, if not, a school Id might suffice.

Geez, I would really hope so! It seems like they're doing everything they can to make it difficult/unappealing for people to attend. I have 4 sons, 2 of which are old enough to need screening. I don't believe either has a school Id, being only 8 & 5 years old. They won't be with me at this game, so I guess I'll find out what exactly is needed prior to then so I don't run into an issue when they go to a game later this season.
