I said the same thing. Everything that was told to me I said "Wasn't that part of the job"? We already knew there were a number of issues in the AD. That's why TGD was let go and we hired a new guy. Guess it was more than he expected or wanted to handle. Very disappointed cause I really liked the guy. Talked to him a couple times and he seemed down to earth. Had me fooled.

I understand, but the fact is that Dino has a great job.

And, next to JB, is already the most important personality in CNY.

If he does what we think he will do, he will be a god, and will never look back on his decision to come to Syracuse University.

Got the impression Kent wanted to tighten the purse strings throughout the dept and trim the fat. Maybe Coyle felt he was handcuffed?

By all accounts from day one everyone felt he was a great hire who was very personable and had his sheet together. For him to leave like this makes me wonder just what the heck is going on inside that department. It doesn't reflect well on both parties.

You just described someone that we all know pretty well. An undertakers son. And he loves college football and has always been a big supporter of the program.

I sent an email to mail@carrierdome.com and I just stated what year I became a FB and BB season ticket holder and how many points I should have.

They shorted me season ticket points from 1985-1995 (since their database only went back as far as 1995). They said they would adjust the point totals, and it would appear on my account in July.

They got back to me within 24 hours.

Ok, I am choosing to think of it this way. I am upset because I thought he was the leader that we needed. I thought he was the man to guide the athletic department to new heights. Clearly he is not that man, so even if he stayed, he would likely have failed at some point, so better he leave now so that we can get the right person for the job.
