Toga is Mr. Crean?Blame Toga's poor kissing skills for Coyle leaving.
I sent an email to mail@carrierdome.com and I just stated what year I became a FB and BB season ticket holder and how many points I should have.
They shorted me season ticket points from 1985-1995 (since their database only went back as far as 1995). They said they would adjust the point totals, and it would appear on my account in July.
They got back to me within 24 hours.
In fact he's not much of a man at all. Certainly not a manly man.Ok, I am choosing to think of it this way. I am upset because I thought he was the leader that we needed. I thought he was the man to guide the athletic department to new heights. Clearly he is not that man, so even if he stayed, he would likely have failed at some point, so better he leave now so that we can get the right person for the job.
Watch yerselfToga is Mr. Crean?
If he were the leader that I, and many others, had envisioned him to be, he would have handled this situation much better than he has. I think he hit a homerun with Babers, so I am glad that he was here to take care of that, but the AD position, particularly with the possibility of future conference expansion, requires a forward thinker and a strong leader, judging by his cowardly exit, I am not sure he would have been the man to lead us through all that.In fact he's not much of a man at all. Certainly not a manly man.
In my mind Boise, Syracuse and Minneapolis would have more culture fits then differences.
No, just 1. That's why its in my mind.Really? Have you been to all three cities?

I mean, i get it, he left within a year, but have any of you had the opportunity to leave a job for a much larger compensation package at a competitor? I cant find Coyles SU Salary, but Gross was making 575k when he was let go. Coyle was making 330k at Boise. Teague was making 500k at minny. Can you blame coyle for leaving to take 20%+ pay hike at a competitor? I know i would.

I understand. It would make me feel better, though, if I saw a press release that stated, "I couldn't resist a 20% pay increase, plain and simple."Damn, lots of hate here for the guy.
