Ohio LOL.

Anyway - it interesting that NJ is one of a handful of states w double digit players in CFP.

Fran knows that you can indeed build a CFP level team by crootin in NJ and the Northeast, while also grabbing guys from FL and elsewhere.

In the recent past, the best Northeast croots had zero interest in Cuse, because with few brief brief exceptions, we’ve been a dumpster fire for their entire lifetimes.

But now that has changed, and Fran has shown he can indeed get the top kids from the Northeast to “stay home” and play for Syracuse.
And be very competitive.

Ohio makes sense when you have two midwestern teams. If it were say Oregon and Texas, I’m sure you’d see fewer players from there.

This is exactly what's wrong with college sports. Turning it into a business and not a sport that is about TEAM.
Sports is a business once you get past middle school modified programs.

Are there walkons playing at a P4 school at any position other than special teams? Wait until some walk-on is responsible for tearing the ACL of a $4M NIL player.
What difference does that make?

The 105 roster limit and scholarships allowed up to 105 is for next academic year assuming the House case settlement is approved by the judge, which is expected in April. Some athletes are opposed to the settlement. And will the Title IX announcement by the Dept of Education affect it. While the judge is expected to approve the settlement, it is not certain she will. And if she doesn't? Chaos?
