Will be interesting to see if he garners any PT moving forward. He's something of a white whale for the fanbase, though, but he'll have an opportunity to show next year whether he can get the job done [or not].
Word from posters here who would know is that the staff likes him a lot and that he was one of the best WR in camp.
I'm spitballing a little - but I think they were torn between redshirting him or Butler - and then Custis got injured. But I think they like both guys enough that they wanted to gain a year since it was clear AET was going to be the #1 and Ish the #2.
Can they still redshirt Butler? I don't remember seeing him on Saturday and he missed a number of games before that.
