I’ll take refusing to recruit and still have top ten classes.
with a career winning SEC record of 103-61…

We need it to eclipse the Robert Washington thread.Same this is thread is going to be refreshed so many times.
Been doing that already since the news dropped he was on campus. I really hope this deal gets done (or already is done)Same this is thread is going to be refreshed so many times.
Which he never did. Smoke and mirrors. He was willing to pony up $1M for NIL for football per year.
This^^^^^^ We shouldn’t be so critical of the university knowing there is commitment to go after a big fish like this.Whether this plays out how we want with Mullen or not at least gives me hope that JW is willing to play ball. Big ball. Because I honestly didn’t know. But with the candidates and now this excitement, I feel better about their commitment regardless of what happens with Mullen.
He was shut down before he could get started.Which he never did. Smoke and mirrors.
I could say that I am too. Doesn’t mean jackHe was willing to pony up $1M for NIL for football per year.
Mullen is in Boston tomorrow doing the BC game on ESPN at noon.Been doing that already since the news dropped he was on campus. I really hope this deal gets done (or already is done)

And bowl games 10 out of 13 seasons. Also don’t forget offensive coordinator for two national champions.with a career winning SEC record of 103-61…
Yeah I can’t Imagine Mullen makes it to campus unless things were very serious and very close.I think JW had to know what Mullen was/is going to ask for before even asking him to come. I can’t imagine he would even step into the ring if he didn’t feel like he could get it done. JW doesn’t seem like the type to have Mullen come out to Syracuse just for fun.
Yeah Mullen had two double digit win seasons at UF, Zook never had more than 8 wins and Mullen also had an amazing run at MSU, Zook never did anything else. Not even close between the two
Ok, this isn’t another AW thread. This is all about Dan Mullen.I could say that I am too. Doesn’t mean jack

Me too. SU and MSU aren’t the sexiest places but he found a way to win once before. This would really be huge. His MSU coaching days is what gets me excited.
He and Jesus have the same middle name?I had no idea his middle name was Frickin.
This is the hope and the dream. Some of us have been saying that on here that the AD is very very much committed to football and making sure we have a seat at the table for conference realignments
Yeah, a potential coach being at practice seems unusual.I think JW had to know what Mullen was/is going to ask for before even asking him to come. I can’t imagine he would even step into the ring if he didn’t feel like he could get it done. JW doesn’t seem like the type to have Mullen come out to Syracuse just for fun.
Agree with this. JW had to have shared some messaging that made it clear he was serious and that means he has some donors that are serious as well or that meeting really doesn’t happen.I think JW had to know what Mullen was/is going to ask for before even asking him to come. I can’t imagine he would even step into the ring if he didn’t feel like he could get it done. JW doesn’t seem like the type to have Mullen come out to Syracuse just for fun.
I love the way you think.Mullen is in Boston tomorrow doing the BC game on ESPN at noon.
It is a short drive/flight to SYR if Wildhack wants to make an announcement on Sunday followed by a Mullen press conference on Monday.
