To some degree, isn’t all of Cuse nation following him to see when it’s official? I dont know if it is an indication. If recruits know he is the next coach, it feels like news would break by now

Yeah but you don’t see them following Chesney or any other coach said to be in the running.

Wildhack has to know that Mullen will result in a huge spike in season ticket sales.

Chesney won’t move the needle and may actually result in decreased season ticket sales since the casual fan will think it SU took the less expensive option at HC.

It’s confirmed that he was at Syracuse Wednesday and it is rumored he is coming back to Syracuse tonight or tomorrow. If that doesn’t scream that this is at the finish line then I don’t know what does. No reason for Mullen to come to Syracuse in the first place and even less of a reason for him to come back if he isn’t going to be the coach.

I think Ed and Dan know each other from coaching against each other in the SEC.

Don’t see Ed having any interest in being the Syracuse DC. If he coaches again, it will be as a HC.
