I really doubt that. I think he just committed to draw attention to himself (I am not being negative about him when I say that) and GMC thought it couldn't hurt.

I'm 95% sure that someone said that to Dohn and he responded "We said he was going to probably end up a 4 star prospect". Well then why didn't you make him one when he was committed to SU?

if scout had a lot of SU fans subscribing to their site all of our players would get rated and get a bump! I stopped subscribing when I asked why so many Rutger players were ranked and he said because his publisher asked him to rate them.

if scout had a lot of SU fans subscribing to their site all of our players would get rated and get a bump! I stopped subscribing when I asked why so many Rutger players were ranked and he said because his publisher asked him to rate them.

Asking them to be rated and them being ranked high vs low are two different things. It was stated that Rutgers had a lot of recruits rated because their publisher asks the regional recruiting guys to rate the commits that were not yet rated then the regional guy will rate them. Mike M has recently started doing this also after we get a commit that isn't ranked...he asks the regional guy to do an evaluation and rate them which speeds up the process of getting them ranked. It really shouldn't have any effect on where they are ranked and how they are rated (Although I personally believe Rutgers get some inflation due to Dohn) based on the statement that they were asked to be rated.

Dohn is such dumb idiot that he doesn't realize that by over inflating the star system on 'girls recruits that when they end up 6-6 and 2-10 (this year) that the staff under performed with the fake talent level that was giving to their players. Maybe both players and staff performed at their correct level.

I am all for Dohn keeping this up as it helps us even more when our 2-3 star kids are coached above their expectation levels

Dohn is full of it and gets way defensive when his clear RU bias is questioned. He made an East Top 50 list recently and made sure two RU commits were on there before he got to our first kid(Strickland who is clearly a better prospect than the RU kids Dohn had ahead of him). Guy is a hack

Did you know the other site has rutgirls team ranking the same as Dohn? Or that Dohns site has both rutgers and syracuse will all 2 or 3 star players with SU's percentage of 3 stars being far greater than rutgers and we're about 20 spots ahead of them?

I have to agree on this one (begrudgingly - not because of you bees but because of some of the stuff in the past, hard to still not be jaded). There may have been reason for complaints in prior years but Scout has definitely shown a decline the past two years in Rutgers rankings and an incline with ours.

I am not referring at all to this years class as they have not signed a LOI.

Past classes that were signed,sealed and delivered is what I was talking about.

and this is not about last years class also as neither team has played a game yet so your a little too quick to jump the gun on this,or are you just defending Rutgers for the hell of it.
