So Labrosse left a full college scholarship because his heart isn't into it anymore? That's BS and doesn't pass the sniff test and watch him end up at McGill or Western Ontario U. I liked this kid and another sign of Dino losing control on the hill.

I can tell you that Mr. DeVito has been rubbing coaches the wrong way since Tommy's recruitment which is unfortunate.

It was always strange to me he was so highly ranked but the offers didn't come along with it.

I'm not sure if all of Rex's offers were at QB. He may have been offered at TE by some of those schools.

Rex’s offers came early and didn’t survive an injury if I remember

A team struggling with depth, poor records and just overall trying to fight their way back I am sure looks like a realistic chance to play as a first or second year guy. When reality doesn't meet expectations I can see where with this generation especially the desire to cut bait and go a different direction. No clue if that was the case here but it's definitely a consistent theme across college hoops and now it appears football more and more as well.

It's only going to become more commonplace I would expect to the point you wish them well and move on even if it happens 10 times every year vs 1 or 2.

Most recently we just had Akeem Dixon report and leave after about a week or two. He hasn't surface anywhere that I know of. How about the NJ kid we landed who quit football to pursue his rapping career.

This may have been who I was thinking of. After leaving UConn after the first two days of classes, she eventually ended up playing basketball for Delaware, was the #2 overall pick in the WNBA draft and has won a championship.

Maybe Ben was homesick , Remember Kevin Mital last year , missed friends and family , missed his gf , his english wasnt very good either , so it was very difficult to adapt... also , if he transfers to a Canadian U , he cannot play this year...
