Too bad Cisco went in the 3rd round
And after a serious knee injury, curious where he would have landed if he never hurt it.

Some had him ranked in late first round. He showed up as a full grown developed man. Always passed the nfl look test. And after a serious knee injury, curious where he would have landed if he never hurt it.
Yup. I'm in the same boat.I’m veering away from this current conversation just to mention that psycho OSU fans who I know are pretty excited about adding Carter.
Ja'Had is a wonderful player and comes from a very difficult background. He's a player that has earned and deserves 100% support. So surprise surprise, Ja'Had got hurt in the Spring. Honestly, this may not be as big a loss as initially thought. He plays hard, but usually pays the price for it.
Agree. He was my favorite defensive player on the team. But, his kamikaze style, and being injury prone was not a good combo. That neck injury scare last Spring, may have been a boon. Think he played a little more reserved last season; and got through the year because of it.Ja'Had is a wonderful player and comes from a very difficult background. He's a player that has earned and deserves 100% support.

Apparently the SU injury bug even applies to our players after they transfer out.Chestnut is out with an injury as well.
Jesse better be careful...Chestnut is out with an injury as well.
According to the article, Jahad was playing with the 2nd team prior to the injurySounds like a knee injury that occured 3 weeks ago. Hopefully not too serious and he's back for fall ball.
Ohio State's Ja'Had Carter suffers knee injury at practice; Buckeyes hopeful he can be back soon
Get well soon Ja'Had. Very likable follow. Miss him on the mob broadcasts already.Sounds like a knee injury that occured 3 weeks ago. Hopefully not too serious and he's back for fall ball.

yup. But playing well and still had a chance to move up the depth chart. Have to think they can't just move him straight up the depth chart too quickly over other established players unless he is absolutely killing it. And it happened 3 weeks ago so not sure he had a ton of time to make the move.According to the article, Jahad was playing with the 2nd team prior to the injury
2nd team, There’s a lesson there.According to the article, Jahad was playing with the 2nd team prior to the injury
2nd Team at Ohio State got better NIL than starting at Cuse2nd team, There’s a lesson there.
But will be hard to get drafted as a 2nd teamer2nd Team at Ohio State got better NIL than starting at Cuse
They have a sr. FS, sr SS and the Nickle safety ( the position he is playing) has a senior slotted in the 1st team. Gonna take more than 3 weeks to pass up guys that have known the system for 4 years.2nd team, There’s a lesson there.
He can also not get drafted as a starter at Cuse. But will be hard to get drafted as a 2nd teamer
“I will not stoop to schadenfreude. I will not stoop to schadenfreude. I will not stoop to schadenfreude.”Chestnut is out with an injury as well.
Great point. This is something that a lot of players entering the portal for quick money miss. If you are a starter you get a lot of exposure. One of reasons he was sought after in the portal. If you are second or third team there is limited time to show your skills. A player is not getting drafted into the league just because they fill a roster spot at Ohio st, Michigan, Alabama Georgia etc.He can also not get drafted as a starter at Cuse.
True but playing as a first teamer against the SU schedule will do more for his draft status assuming he stays healthy than limited play against the Ohio state schedule. He can also not get drafted as a starter at Cuse.
