I hate to derail a recruiting thread, but do we know whether Fran discourages visits after committing? Or does he encourage it?

I don’t know for sure, but if I were running it. I would do a case by case basis. If you commit, but I have higher priority targets on the board at your position, I wouldn’t be upset if you’re actively and publicly looking at other options. I would revoke the offer/commitment if the person that commits is my top target and they are communicated that at the time they do commit if they continue to visit other schools and publicly looking at other options.

With the transfer portal and the ability to transfer and not sit I don't think it makes much difference if a kid takes all his Ovs even if he is committed. If they do stay committed and sign they could still be gone in a year.

I wouldn’t know because I would be lying if I said I followed recruiting closely before the Fran Brown era lol

Pretty sure that was Dino. He also told kids they should go to PSU if they were from the NE and weren't going to SU.
