If the kid is that good, I'm sure other schools knows where he is visiting.Even if they can I’m not sure how it benefits them. It just shows our hand to other schools who we are highly interested in. If it’s found out, it isn’t a big thing, but why advertise it just because? Staff knows if a kid is there, the kid knows. The relevant need to know people would know. That’s the important part

All I want for Christmas.Committing December 4th.
Seriously. A DE playing in the Dome and pass rushing on 3rd down with deafening noise sounds amazing to me.No doubt whatsoever he’d plug right in and be in front of 35,000 fans. He saw what it’s like on Saturday. Our comeback was electric
Love this comment. Also love that its from Samuel.
Oh, so you've spoken to him? Ask him what he would like to study in school. Try and sell him on the communications school here.I wouldn’t hold my breath on this one. If an SEC school wants him, they will get him.
If we can be competitive with nil we may have a chance. Fran may be willing to pay to get a 5 star. Would excite the fan bases and change recruiting perception.Oh, so you've spoken to him? Ask him what he would like to study in school. Try and sell him on the communications school here.

Not everyone is looking for the huge NIL deal.. it definitely would help but sometimes the relationship is worth more then money..If we can be competitive with nil we may have a chance. Fran may be willing to pay to get a 5 star. Would excite the fan bases and change recruiting perception.
This is probably a good take. There‘s so much movement now, you hope you might get a rebound down the road. We’re having a hard time keeping a defensive end from Rochester from flipping to Michigan. Getting a kid to come from Florida is going to be tough.Maybe. But he DID take an official visit to Syracuse, so there's a puncher's chance at least.
And perhaps more importantly, the relationship-building might pay off down the road. In this new era of the Portal, recruiting isn't just about short-term payoff. If the kid does end up at an SEC [just going off what your post suggests] and eventually transfers, Fran might be able to capitalize.
So however it works out, getting this kid on campus was a big deal. Time will tell.

Diggs and McCord did quite well NIL wise. We're not a broke school, especially with who we brought in. We spent some money on KJE. If Fran and staff feel a player is a game changer whether it's high school or transfer, we can be fairly competitive (within reason).ala Fadil Diggs

yup, I think he's got a great relationship with Nick. I can see one visit as a favor...but two, given the timing, is more than just a favor. Now will it win out in the end? Who knows, but this would be...a game changer from a narrative perspective for Syracuse, both with the media and other recruits. Just getting him to visit twice gets attention...Just curious if this is inside knowledge
I had heard he was dead set to Texas as well as others on here.
He visited Texas and I had assumed he was going to commit.
He instead came and visited us against VT.
I think we have more of a chance here than we think
Possible he came up here for a visit with his buddy. I think we always have a shot with fran MF brownJust curious if this is inside knowledge
