I am such a fan of Syracuse Football I feel emotion related to every little thing. I know your going to mis interpret that into some extreme emotion. I truly don't quite understand when fans feel absolutely nothing when a great recruit de commits. Not some extreme emotion but some small appropriate hint of something related to losing a terrific recruit.

Uh, because these are people free to make decisions for themselves about their futures. It’s not like they are making a blood oath of loyalty to the orange and blue.

The sun will rise and Fran will have a full roster of young men next year. Names TBD.

It should be pointed out that Michigan got throttled by Oregon today to fall to 5-4.

They are going to get hammered by Indiana and Ohio State and will need to beat Northwestern to get bowl eligible.

Good chance their head coach who gave Gillian’s the hug will be fired by the end of his sophomore season. Assuming he decides to go there and dress up like a banana.

Not crazy, I saw that too, and thought it was weird that they pretty clearly showed the Michigan M whole saying he's "currently" committed to Syracuse.

His agent is Antoine Hyman. Looks like he is from Buffalo, went to Keuka and might be Rochester based now. Also represents Messiah Hampton.

At least it isn't someone from Ann Arbor who is a Michigan alum.

Hopefully he sees the opportunity to stay close to home and play for a program on the rise with a really strong DC / DL coaching combo. But if he wants to play in the B1G and play at Michigan there isn't much we can do about that.

Noticed that too. Any HS kid who has an agent better hope to have adults around him looking out for his best interests because you don’t have an agent if you’re not going for the best NIL deal. You think the agent won’t be in his ear to take the NIL$ at Michigan so they can get their sleazy cut. Agents praying on 16 and 17 year olds is next level.

I’m sure they don’t want to, but if he thinks he’s worth it i’m sure he can be offered an NIL package. Will it be as much? Probably not, but this is why he’s here.

I’d say this year is still very much in the air and isn’t even close to last years star power. Long way to go, but need to hang on the top guys looking to get poached and have a couple surprises up his sleeve. Also, hit big in the portal. Right now this class is just on pace as prior years with 28(?) commits.
