Dead Red Walking - Virginia Tech Game

RDR 2 is solid as well
It’s only the 4th best selling game… of all time. And will soon jump to #3 when the remaster comes to all platforms in a couple months.

Not a gamer by any means but RDR1 was one of the very few that I managed to play, enjoy, and see it through. It’s actually making me consider getting a new tv for the first time in 16 years. Sony Bravia just keeps chugging but I’d like to have VRR and HDR.

Sorry, but I really dislike these Red Dead Walking threads.

Dont get me wrong, I am not defending Red and saying he should stay after this season.

But I am saying that the very title of these threads is disrespectful. Red may or may not be a good coach, but he is an important member of the Cuse community and is worthy of our respect as a person.

Most importantly, the season is not over by any means. Though the odds may be less than 50%, this team does have a reasonable chance to make the Dance, and, if we do so, there is little doubt that Red will be back and will have earned it.

Let the season play out, we should not be giving up on this team at this point in time.

The season is over in February. The odds are more like .05%. That is the problem you can't overlook. People seem to live an an alternate reality where they think that "Red can turn it around". He can't. Get a grip. All hope is false hope.

Every four or five games since he has been our coach we have lost to teams who are much worse than us (i.e., Hofstra, Boston College). He loses nearly every game decided by 5 points or less (look it up, it's crazy).

On what planet could you reasonably expect us to win all of our remaining games decided by 5 points or less, which we would need to do to make the tourney AND stop losing to really bad teams every 5 games.

It's not possible!!! This is not disrespect, this is very basic analysis and interpretation of Syracuse Basketball performance data. There is no data anywhere that supports any other outcome. It makes me vey sad. I loved Adrian growing up but the results are putrid irrespective of the effort.

The numbers just don't lie. The same numbers existed last year and we kept him for a third year.

The thread is meant for depressed fans to cope with the embarrassing losses and have a laugh.

I think this is an appropriate level of frustration to express on a message board. Frankly, he should have been terminated last season.

The odds were far less than 50% before tonight, and by no means reasonable before tonight's game.

And this is coming from someone who believes the threshold to get in was much lower than many here (I thought 11-7 would possibly be enough). But I haven't wasted my time defending that 11-7 number the last 3 weeks, because I needed the team to prove it could accomplish it.

After tonight those odds...

After tonight well...

The writing has been on the wall with how lost Red and staff are. Some didn’t want to see it and hold irrational faith but the moment decent teams and coaches were on the opposite bench- reality would be clear and sadly here we are.

Fans want to come to cheer for Red. But he is just not good enough to be the coach of Syracuse Oranges. Syracuse has the second best fan base. Only Kentucky is better.
