Looked like we attacked way more after watching condensed game. Perry and Simmons had good games as did Diggs. One play Perry took on 2 guys and punched thru to make tackle. Still see linebackers taking on blocks shoulder to shoulder and we are not gonna win that. Gotta dip and rip bye their hip pocket. Woulda saved 3 outta 4 big runs they had. Barely saw McDonald at all. Kerr gonna be a big time player. He can cover and tackle. Last big run they had Grant totally missed angle. Overall I think they played much better today. 1 thing to note, why the heck our or defensive lineman 1.5 yards off ball. It’s so weird. Push the envelope as much as possible. Good team win.

I liked seeing the Defense switch it up, blitz a lot more, and ultimately much more effective.
Agreed with linebackers need to get off blocks faster, and safeties take better angles too.

We need to be able to stop the run vs UConn. Looking at YPC in FBS games and comparing to other ACC teams:

The difference from next to last (16th) and 4th place: 0.79 yards per carry.

The difference between next to last and last (SU): 0.77 yards per carry.

Not only are we the worst, we aren't even in the same ball park as the 2nd worst.

So you are saying we need UConn to run the ball 50 times and hold them to negative ten yards rushing to make any improvements in our overall YPC standing?

Cause they are going to run the ball 40 times
