If I haven't previously told you how awesome you are for all the tweets and other posts you find for us, let me make sure I do it now. You are awesome OrangeXtreme

Just to add a little content... I think it's time to change the thread title for William Kyle from "he's a little short" to "he's tall enough."

Happy to see the intensity continuing to carry over.

Kyle looks to be a serious asset along with Sadiq and Donnie. Interested to see if Kiyan can continue his stellar play with stiffer competition.

A little concerned with George's high turnover rate so far but I like his game a lot.

With some extra fine tuning and cleaning up throughout the year this looks like a team that can make a run in the tournament.

It’s a little thing but in his postgame interview just now, when asked about making his first career start, Kiyan said that coach “decided to put me out with the first group”. I doubt it was intentional at all but I just liked hearing “first group” instead of “starters” because I think there’s going to be quite a few games where multiple non-starters are top 5 in minutes. Kiyan & Sadiq specifically can really bring a 2010 Scoop & KrisJo-type injection of energy & playmaking. I thought Red subbed beautifully today to maximize fresh legs & chemistry.

Pretty much a continuation of game one. The defensive buy in and athleticism are just so much better than last year.
-Kiyan is so impressive. So under control, confident but not taking bad shots either. Defense is better than advertised. Frankly his whole game is. Free throws have been poor but I’m not worried.
-Donnie is showing leadership I wasn’t aware he had. Had some great assists as well.
-White is better offensively than expected, especially with the right hand. He’s the most athletic big we’ve had since Jerami and not just jumping but with foot speed as well. The kid can check guards.
-George was not good today and at times times shot contested threes too early in the shot clock. But again it’s not a huge concern as long as he understands that he should be our point guard first.
-So nice to have Kyle contesting at the rim.
-Such a different feel with athleticism and effort. Can’t wait for Drexel.

I think it's highly likely that is a deliberate phrasing cultivated by the coaches to help build a team first mentality. It doesn't matter who the "first group" on the floor is... At least not as much as "starters" vs. "bench players."

Many positives thus far but the lack of quality competition is a concern. Defense solid in every aspect. On offense FTs and 3-point shooting a concern and far too many turnovers today. But this team is exciting, fun to watch, and works hard.

I don’t get the quality of competition comments. We beat LeMoyne by 4 last year and they were near the bottom of the NET….
