Mark my words. If everything goes to plan, he will be a first rounder after his Junior year. NFL will love his skill set, ball skills, playing both ways and speed. Not to mention if he’s drafted after his junior year he would be the 2nd youngest player EVER drafted. The NFL will love all that. Not to mention he seems very smart and mature for a kid that’s suppose to be a senior in high school this year. Have to think if he stayed in high school he’s probably be a top 50 overall kid in the recruiting rankings

He’s a good WR he’s currently running with the 3s at WR but he should get a few snaps here and there at WR this year.

Samuels has had an up-and-down first two games, but he looked really good going up against Skylar Bell on Saturday. He’s only going to keep getting better — that kid is special. I can’t wait to see him line up at wide receiver as well against Colgate.

Agreed. I haven’t rewatched the UCONN game and I wasn’t “iso cam-ing” him Saturday, but it seemed to me that he had already made some improvements since Tennessee.

Maybe it was just the difference in the talent he was going against, but after Saturday I’m confident that by mid-season he’s going to be a solid ACC calibre starting CB (at 17 years old).

Sky really is the limit.
