Dear :

Thank you for your support of Syracuse Athletics! As a season ticket holder, you represent the lifeblood of Orange Nation. Your thoughts, experiences, and opinions are extremely important to us.

Therefore, we are inviting you to express your interest in joining the ‘Cuse Fan Council. This new organization is intended to foster dialogue among Orange fans, alumni, donors and Syracuse students and the Department of Athletics. This dialogue will consist of topics that directly relate to the fan experience, ticket sales, and other subjects relating to our intercollegiate athletics events.

Council members will be chosen with the intent of building a committee that represents the broad spectrum of Orange fans. Each appointment will last for a calendar year and committee members must commit to attending meetings every month.

Please click this link (http://www.cuse.com/cusefancouncil) for an opportunity to become a ‘Cuse Fan Council member before November 15, 2015.

If you are selected, you will be contacted directly by a member of the athletics department staff.

Go Orange!

I did. Perhaps we should start a campaign to get one of ours on this committee.

John Cunningham is one of the guys that stopped by the fine mess tailgate.

Great idea! How do we go about doing it?
Well first we have to know who wants to do it and then send a petition of some kind. We could certainly suggest more than one. My choices would be TexanMark and SUTOMCAT and any of our admins.

sounds like everyone got one except Texanmark:p

I didn't get one :( But, the only SU games I've been to lately were the ones in New Orleans and Houston, and it would be pretty difficult, and expensive, for me to make a monthly meeting :P

It appears that every season ticket holder got one

I second that nomination! Although I think it would be a bit of a stretch for TexanMark to make every meeting. I would think the best Fine Mess rep would be JeremyCuse.

Well I didn't get one dammit! I doing it anyway. Try and stop me.

*edit* found it in my spam.

Penn State just created one of these. My best friend from undergrad actually made it onto their council. I think it's a good idea and glad SU is creating one as well.

I have submitted my name for this committee. Such a great idea. I've been emailing back and forth with Coyle on this for a few weeks now.

In all honesty, there should be about 3 members of this board serving on that committee. The true diehards.

Got mine and responded as well. Had a feeling that this was coming down the line. Glad to see they're doing it.
