Did Autry do a presser?

There's also been some veiled reports of whale NIL boosters feeling they were sold a bill of goods with some of these transfers and unless significant improvement starts happening soon, there are big problems for Red and his tenure.

Honestly, I think Devo got an internal memo to go out and circle the wagons for Red. His comments did feel a bit scripted to me (tho maybe I interpreted them wrong.)
I loved Eric as a player and love how much he loves Syracuse, but he's too close to the people to take too seriously. I respect him for that loyalty, but to me his opinion is irrelevant from a fan perspective.

You guys on social media just don’t get it. Right? This team and coach are trying their best (I guess….?)

Our offense looks good in practice since they are going against our pathetic defense. Our defense in practice looks good because they are going against our pathetic offense. Sounds like a joke but sometimes I worry it is that simple.
You are into something...0.0 against 0.0 is 0 point 0, or NIL.

"Siri, what's zero divided by zero...?"

“Imagine that you have zero cookies and you split them evenly among zero friends. How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn’t make sense. And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies, and you are sad that you have no friends.”

Seriously wondering what you expect a coach to say after losses? Is there anything a coach can say that would change people’s own narrative? He’s changed up the lineup, given numerous players opportunities to shine and regardless the final results have been less than favorable so what do you people expect a coach to say? Would anything he says in a post game press conference make an iota of difference to you. Let’s be honest here.
I think that's fair. The problem for me is that no matter what, the fact that he has a PG that is as bad as he is but still gets 35-36 minutes a game tells me he's unqualified for the job, particularly in roster building, talent assessment, roster composition, critical thinking, and most of all, common sense.

Red is a nice guy. I wonder if the players have enough fear/respect.
Brad Stevens and Tony Bennett are famously nice guys who rarely if ever yelled at their players. You don’t need to instill fear in players to get them to listen to you and play hard. But you do have to earn their respect and trust.

"We didn't show up for the second half."

"Too many turnovers."

"We failed to cash in on transition and we gave up some transition points."

"The game was closer than the score indicated."

"I've seen a lot more positives the last couple of games."

"We've gotta keep building and get JJ back into form"
Thanks SWC for posting this.

Seems Red like to start off after a loss with observations as such. We didn't show up, we didn't go after rebounds, we didn't play as a team, we didn't this we didn't that.

How come the folks at the presser didn't follow up with questions like why and how?

Ok if you didn't "make shots" or "shot 50% from the line" you can say it's an odd night on shooting but when the problem is admittedly effort related, like "we didn't show up in the second half" someone had to ask why what happened and what specifically ought to be done as a HC to make sure this doesn't happen again?

What kind of positives were seen last few games coach?

"We just need to keep pushing forward" push forward how? What have we learn from game to game so we can push forward in a positive direction and not just blindly pushing?
