Did ND really open -1 vs Cuse?

Early in the week I saw Cuse -2.5. This morning the line is even.

ND $$ is taking the points.

Go Orange

How many of there 28 straight wins against the ACC in the regular season were even close games?

Absolutely pathetic that noone can beat that team they were not good at all Garrett Schrader killed us and gave them a huge lead they had no business having.

SU just isn't talented and deep enough yet to comfortably beat a down Notre Dame

Throw in the opening pick six + blocked punt, and you get the result of today's game.

Agree completely with your 1st sentence.

SU responded after that pick 6 and answered right back. 7-7 even game at that point early 1st Q.

Afterwords though, the game was won and lost in the trenches (supporting your 1st sentence) where ND totally dominated us and controlled the game. 21-7 at half and 24-7 early 3rd felt much larger than that.

We definitely fought though showing a lot of spirit and grit with our backup QB. It appeared to also invigorate our D as they were making some plays themselves due to being able to catch their breath some with our O showing signs of life and gaining substantial MO at 24-17.

The D made another good stand and we had the ball again down 24-17 early 4th. However, that very series on the tipped pass and subsequent pick ultimately doomed us.

Shortly thereafter ND scores a TD going up 31-17 and the game was over. That there, IMO, was the death blow.

That pick was the game… Given the D’s inability to get off the field. Was a killer.

Wilson is a bit shorter than GS. We may have to get away from those short slants because they have been getting batted and deflected way too frequently.
