Dino on SportsCenter

So if Sean declares for the draft we should know in early January, right? The big question on my mind is, will he play in our bowl game or not. I sure hope he does and I have a feeling he will.

PR is his gift. He is a very good program leader. He needs good tacticians to handle the x and o side and with this staff he has a perfect balance.
Not just that. He’s a good leader of men (and that gets used too much for too many coaches). When Wildhack said the kids play hard for him - that means a lot, esp when we were losing week after week

I remember the ND game the Covid year, it might have been the last game of the season, the broadcasters said SYR was playing hard when they had every reason not to. They said SYR was a young team and them playing hard to the end bode well for the future, maybe we're seeing the fruits of that

Dr. Gross's prophecy has finally come true. We're now part of the National Conversation...a little.

1. SU grads yakking it up on ESPN and elsewhere
2. Dino's great interview
3. Ranked #14
4. Dohn upgraded Ike Daniels by .0000001 pts.

5. Portion of larger article culled from ESPN:
• Syracuse at Clemson (Oct. 22): This has turned into a critical Atlantic Division game, and arguably the most difficult remaining opponent on Clemson's schedule (that speaks volumes about where Notre Dame is right now). If Clemson loses, Syracuse will take the lead in the division, and Clemson will need the Orange to lose twice. That might not happen, as ESPN's FPI gives Syracuse at least a 55% chance to win each of its remaining games except Nov. 19 at Wake Forest. If Clemson doesn't win this game -- and, in turn, the ACC -- the entire league's playoff hopes will nosedive, unless Syracuse miraculously finishes undefeated. Even then, it would depend on what happens in the other Power 5 conferences, which also all still have at least one undefeated team. According to the Allstate Playoff Predictor, this is one of the five remaining games with the biggest impact on the playoff race.

They're talking about us reference the Playoffs. I'm savoring it. Folks, we're a long way from Culpepper spiking on 4th down.

And that's the Bull of it

If Clemson wins out they are in the playoff
If we win out, we might not be

And there's no reason why we shouldn't be in the playoff if we are undefeated

Other than us being Syracuse

That's the Bull Oney

We go undefeated and miss the playoff, I’m declaring us National Champions and will single handedly become the most obnoxious twitter troll the world has ever seen.

So they're basically saying, don't worry, the ACC officials in Clemson are absolutely going to call an unbiased game.

Humans have us ranked 14 now, the computers 12. The computers have a huge impact on the ranking that feeds the playoff. If we run the table we’re in, I’m sure.

We should have a “worry” board
Who is transferring out
Conference realignment
Coaches leaving
Skip bowl game

Crossed off - Can’t fill dome anymore
Can’t win with current recruiting
level.
I’m gonna enjoy the moment but I do realize we really need to keep as much of this current staff together as we possibly can, although I feel since we’ve given dino enough time to figure it out he understands what to look for when the day comes for the departures.

We are so fortunate to have him - feels like he is on the verge of totally revamping the program - he just needs kids to believe in him out of high school

If SU beats Clemson and Wake beats SU, SU will have to rely on the polls for a 3 team tie, correct? Sorry, a late loss is always a killer poll wise.
