With the OL play for 3/4 of the season...I can’t see many more than 5...unless you have a QB who can make something out of nothing - like Dungey. DeVito can’t do squat when chased out of the pocket. He needs a solid OL no matter what.

10 wins was beyond nice for me...it was the best thing I’ve seen here since Dwight Freeney.

DeVito still has two more years and hopefully a legit OL that he can succeed with now.

I never thought I would say this a month ago, but I’m excited about what our offense can do next year. All about the OL. Their turnaround and having 4 starters back makes it likely it will be pretty good next year. Just hope they don’t all do something stupid like become vegans and do hot yoga and lose 30 pounds and come back getting tossed around like that one guy seemingly did this year.

Karma. There is no question that people in all lines of work have been fired in bad ways. It never serves a good purpose to do it that way. It will almost always come back at you.

Lane Kiffin got fired on the Tarmac at USC and it didnt seem to harm them.

Many AD's have fired many many coaches. I would bet several per school and it doesn't seem to hurt any of them. They all are making more money than ever despite some of their records even. They even have better facilities now.

If Dino is going to replace any coaches I hope he does it quickly and correctly because of all the firings being done those new HC's are going to grab the quality assistants ASAP. Has to be somebody that wants to be on the Hill and not like the guy (from Virginia) who came and left right away after getting Ruff to a school he preferred as SU was an immediate stepping stone for him.

Totally on purpose! The email was to another exec saying "don't give OIB any more work because he will be done at the end of the month!" I can laugh about it now. Usually these things work out for the better.

I hope they keep him. Coaches get fired too much. Especially depending on how the culture is. If he had kids graduating and you see improvement don’t screw that up.
