“I won’t have any injury updates until later in the week.” Dino Babers doesn’t have anything to share on Oronde Gadsden’s lower body injury from Saturday.

Babers said he has to wait on right tackle David Wohlabaugh Jr. But he hopes to have Kalan Ellis and Joe More back this week. Garrett Shrader said he expects More and Ellis to be back for this week after the win on Saturday.

Babers said players of the game were Garrett Shrader, Leon Lowery and Brady Denaburg.

Babers said that all he remembers from the game-winning drive against Purdue last season was “the penalties.”

“Hudson Card will be the best quarterback we’ve faced this year.” Babers on preparing for Purdue’s QB.

“We already knew he was good. But to make plays like Oronde did, that says a lot.” Babers on how Oronde Gadsden played against Purdue last season.

Babers said it’s good to watch Purdue to play against a future SU opponent in Virginia Tech.

Anyone tuning into this forum will know OG's status before 7:29. Someone at the game will say if he is in uniform or street clothes. My guess is the latter. Crutches and a boot don't seem like just precautionary measures. Plus, it's more important to have hom healthy for the ACC schedule.

BTW on the turf .. yes, we do still have real grass turf, but this year switched to a new version this year that should be a little faster than the old turf (switched from a more bluegrass base to bermuda base that is more similar to what Kansas City has).

Welcome to the board. Dino likes hippos, elephants, movie references and Ohana. The local media is not quite on that list, not to a Jim Boeheim level by any means, but his charm shines with the national people

Purdue gave up 39 points and lost to that California football powerhouse, Fresno State in Week 1.
Maybe Walters and Purdue should have also done 'what they're supposed to do'.
