Purdue fan here (I come in peace) .. is Dino always this salty with your press guys? Kinda amusing, but seems like he doesn’t like them very much.

He's toned it down over the years, but he was particularly surly with the guy in the Bills polo (Brent Axe) yesterday. He's pretty brusque in pressers but does usually exhibit familiarity with the beat reporters.

I had a similar reaction watching the presser. DB seemed to be much more somber to me. My initial thought was...I wonder if he just got some very bad news about OG

He said news coming soon regarding OG3 and also posted about other WRs likely being the new candidates for Cali Awards for leading the team in TDs and yards. I try not to read into these things but his tone seemed pretty telling

Oh nor do I, Axe sucks, Dino was definitely more cutting than usual and I am sure that isn’t the first time Axe asked something moronic/incoherent. Definitely not criticizing Dino but he definitely is more Dino-esque with the national press

I don't believe that SU owns its' own personal MRI machine.

Usually they wait 48 hours to perform an MRI to allow the swelling to subside. Then a doctor has to read the MRI.

Which means there's no way Dino would have an update before 11 AM on Monday.

BTW on the turf .. yes, we do still have real grass turf, but this year switched to a new version this year that should be a little faster than the old turf (switched from a more bluegrass base to bermuda base that is more similar to what Kansas City has).

What happened to Boiler D ???? That’s the real question.

Georgia and Alabama don't have full time team physicians.

You don't really need one, honestly. There's trainers and rehabbers on staff. All an orthopedist would do is give an official diagnosis, which they can give in an already timely fashion.

It seems unreal at this point. My decades of watching Syracuse football and I can’t ever recall so many early season injuries derailing the season year after year after year. Even with greater depth this year how do you replace a future NFL talent? We won’t even know what the impact of losing him might be because we haven’t played anyone significant yet. Frustrating all around
