I wouldn't either after that piece Axe wrote calling Dino out for not releasing a statement during the George Floyd stuff. Was an insane thing to do at the time and still was looking back on it.

Brent has campaigned to get Dino fired a number of times. Monday morning, wrote a column criticizing Syracuse for using Garrett too much running the ball after one of the program’s best wins in years.

There is a fine line between being objective/asking tough questions and having an agenda. I think Dino has picked up on that..

I don’t disagree with you, but everything he wrote in his article yesterday was spot on. Beck can’t use Shrader like Purdue in every game or he want last to mid October. I disagreed with Brent with the play calling against Purdue, but we will have to become more diversified or our offense will be brought to a crawl against better teams.

Made a comment about being the only team at SU that doesn’t control their own OOC schedule. Said something post game about future scheduling and he hopes they don’t have to play Purdue in the near future. Directed both comments at Herm Frazier. Herm did all of the football scheduling for a while, then I believe someone on the football staff took a major role in it . (Wittke?) apparently it’s back with Herm now. We usually find out about scheduling when opponents announce so maybe we should watch for a potential series against a less than desirable foe (in Dino’s mind) in the relatively near future. Our schedule is wide open starting in 2027.

Im not sure Pena’s the guy to fill any gaps in our offense. He’s our best returner, but I think we have multiple better receivers ready to get a chance.

He certainly has. Like I said, it's pretty clear that Dino does not like, respect or think very highly of Axe.

Dino has moved into it mode. When someone is injured he usually says “we have to talk to the doctors” or “I don’t know anything yet”

Now when asked if a player is injured he just goes with “not at all” when that player may in fact be injured. He’s taking the “Faking capital of the world” stuff very seriously. Lol

all his stuff about Boeheim and the basketball program that got him fired from the radio show was spot on correct and was exactly what fans were saying and thinking. I lost all respect for that station and its Kremlin radio stance.
