To be fair, you have been saying the same thing too.I’ve heard this same sentiment from other handsome posters!

Of course he’s not going to reveal state secrets in a press conference. But the results of the past 4 games, and particularly the debacle last Thursday, make it pretty clear that he’s at a loss right now.
I mean that coy “we did one thing different” comment is evidence of that. He’s just throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks. I mean the game was over 7 minutes in the second quarter last week.
I don’t trust JW to make the right decision either. It’s hard for me to accept/buy that this university is so broke they can’t go out and spend 5-7 million on a coach and try to make this program relevant. Why bother paying attention if they can’t /wont…We have never come out of this kind of tailspin under Babers and we have had many of them. I have zero faith in him turning this around
Yes, I would say being down 30-3 at halftime against a team that lost to Marshall would equate to minimal effort.Minimal effort? Lol.

I wish some of them had quit because it’s just a further indictment of how lousy we are.Whatever. Saying they quit is lazy. Nobody quit out there.

Quitting is a label that some dont like to use. Id say we didn't play with energy, we were flat, unorganized, didnt seem to care as we were joking around on the sidelines, no gang tackling running to the ball ect.. but Quitting of course the kids didn't quit, they just played like they did.I wish some of them had quit because it’s just a further indictment of how lousy we are.
There was less than adequate effort. And that’s not even debatable.Quitting is a label that some dont like to use. Players know things are screwed up. Dino is spinning and everyone can see it. Its national news. Bye week and rather than pulling together and grinding Dino sends them home. After all of the negativity and 4 straight blow outs if the kids dont come out Friday night with their best effort to save the season and their coaches job i think it is ok to say they have quit on Dino. There was less than adequate effort. And that’s not even debatable.
If I was the coach and kids were laughing on the sideline during a blowout it would take about a week to get my sneaker removed from their asses.
The team reflects the coach. He has no energy, no passion, the guy is a shell of the Dino from 2017-2018.

Dino “dealt” with Taj Harris too. Eventually. It was one player one time, that I saw. I’m sure Dino didn’t even see it. And if you read between the lines, Dino said he dealt with it.
Fridays effort will show everyone if they are still committed. They need to play their arses off and i think they will as i take Dino at face value. They have a chance to win 7 or 8 games. Save their coaches job and send the seniors out on a high note. Another flat performance and it will be obvious they've quit.It was one player one time, that I saw. I’m sure Dino didn’t even see it. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let it be that they stopped listening to music during practice.“There’s just one thing we changed in our practices.” Babers says there was only one switch in how SU prepares for games after the Orange’s loss last week. He declined to identify what the change was.
You should watch a Mack Brown pre-week press conference. He breaks down stats, opponent, etc, talks about what's going on with individual UNC players, other things going on around the program, the whole 9 yards over the course of 50 minutes. He's super well prepared and you actually learn things... Makes me think the press conferences are a reflection of the quality of the coaching that the players experience within each program. To be fair, press conferences are dumb when a team is winning too.
Aren't you smooth.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let it be that they stopped listening to music during practice.
Why would we expect a coach making multi-millions a year to do something like that? You should watch a Mack Brown pre-week press conference. Do we have a play book?
Do you ask questions that you know the answers to?You like to ask that question. Do you know the answer? And if you do, do you know why and what the process is?
