Dino's Game 9 Press Conference | Pitt

looked like he was basically a straight ahead runner and no way he was making cuts. But his throwing all game looked off as well.

Almost looked like how he finished the year last year and I wasn’t surprised when he was eventually pulled.

Noticed that too when watching the replay on my DVR. He was clearly hurt from the start.

I actually was confused when it happened. It almost looked like just laziness and not caring but that’s not GS’s style at all. I was like, what’s going on, that was so weird. Wasn’t till the game went on I knew something was definitely going on

Yeah, there's no harm in saying something generic like -
he did very well given he came in cold, and had a TON of drops.
Naturally there's room for improvement, but that's normal for any backup getting their first live game reps in a while.
A healthy GS is still our starter.

And leave it at that.
(which is specifically also NOT saying how "healthy" GS is, or isn't right now)
some passes were dropped because they were behind the receivers

I completely missed it live because we were on our way back to our seats from being on the field next to the players tunnel. We didn’t even know about the pick six til we got to our seats.

In fact, I thought something good happened cause we heard the roar of the crowd. Sadly that was all the ND fans.

Wait… have you now become the fans walking up and down the stairs getting food all the time making it hard to see the game for the diehards?

Just busting chops. I remember the angst of trying not to miss the start while waiting in line b/c my wife likes the nachos and dome dogs.

Lol! Our seat neighbors were like where were you! When we showed them our pregame fan experience pass they understood though. It was weird showing up to our seats like 5 minutes late though.

No There is no lying . I actually looked at the dictionary definition.
hind·sight
/ˈhīn(d)ˌsīt/
Learn to pronounce

noun
  1. understanding of a situation or event only after it has happened or developed.
"with hindsight, I should never have gone"
What do you call understanding of a situation before it has happened or developed ? Because that’s what would apply here.

Yea it is
we've all been right and wrong here ten thousand times, we're all ancient now, and you're not going to take his word for it? why would he lie?

our row was having a conniption over it and you know how I am about 4th downs usually. it was obviously crazy the way shrader was playing

I believe that's foreskin...foresight, I mean.

Coaches knew how hurt he was and stayed with him way longer than they should’ve.

yeah, I mean maybe the 6 rolls of tape he had on both ankles would have tipped that he was not 100%. He went from a QB that may take off on a run to quickly to a statue in 7 days

I’m not even arguing about the decision, I’m sure analytics would not have you go for it. If you make a comment on Monday it’s hindsight. I believe Go that he would have punted.

Ugh
People are taking my comment the wrong way.

Here’s a different spin of the same point. Instead of the “its been addressed internally”, he could take blame as the coach. All the clock mismanagement and other coaching fumbles. Its a fair caveat about Dino. Otherwise love the guy.

Agreed. He should have never seen the field unless it was an emergency situation.

Obviously, the first play pick six was bad, but what it showed was just how immobile he was when he barely tried to make the tackle inside the 10 yard line.
