Matt Keller is out for the season, Dino says.

Dino: We have to ask ourselves, is Clemson *that* good? Bemoans lack of first downs and the 94-yard drive

Dino says he was 50/50 on calling a timeout on 4th-and-6 on final drive. Didn't want freshman QB to get to talk over scenario with staff on sideline.

Babers on run D: “It was just missed tackles.” Film shows a lot of that. Clemson used zone and counter well and that kept SU guessing.

Babers said Antwan Cordy and Chris Elmore are “fine.” No other injury concerns besides Keller that he knows about.

Dino: I hope the community saw a team they can get behind. I hope we are doing out part of putting something on the field they can be proud of.

Dino on second-half offense: SU needed to play it safe OR it needed to go for it. "We were going to go for it."

Dino: It wasn't a great performance by the offense, but we were looking for that one play. Maybe we should've been looking for a lot more little plays to run more clock.

Dino: I don't think we can take any team for granted. Pitt will try to run and pound and lean on us.

BTW, I still can't believe that cheap shot on Keller wasn't a PF. Kid went out of his way to turn around and hammer him. Thinking about disrupting a last second Cuse FG there Clemson ?

That sure didn't look like balls to the wall O in the second-half IMHO. A lot of it was Clemson's D but it sure seemed like we went into a shell.

Promotion is good now, but if we beat Pitt and end up ranked, then overload it. Hype the ranking. Two weeks until UNC. Provide a 3 game package for the remaining games with discounts to the premium seats.

I don't think we were conservative.

We couldn't sustain a drive long enough to get many RB touches. I do think the play calling got a little weird. We were trying to run plays to the edge against a team with superior speed.

I don't think it's just pass = aggressive and run = conservative. They were spying ED and were in a lot of single coverage situations that we did not take advantage of. You're not going to beat a team with Clemson's speed with bubble screens. Stretch the field, use your TE's on quick releases etc. Get the ball out fast. A lot of these trickery plays take way too long to develop.

if they come in 5-1 and theres not 45k for UNC, and if/when he leaves after some success, then we'll all look back as this was the day he decided he's outta here. If they do come in 5-1 I'm buying extra tix and giving them away.
