That needs to be the selling point. All transfers ended up as starters are playing significant time. Show the stats.

My thought is maybe we had a conversation with him and he indicated he wasn’t interested. No inside information, but if I’m transferring from Albany and have a lot of choices I’m probably not going 2 hours down the thruway to play. But who knows

Ya gotta love these kind of threads. Nobody knows anything factually but let’s all assume the worse case. There could be a number of reasons he hasn’t tweeted an SU offer. Maybe he told us point blank he has no interest in SU. Maybe he doesn’t want others thinking he’ll be coming here. Maybe there’s something we don’t know about and DB is doing due diligence. Maybe he forgot? Who knows? Could be many other reasons.

But let’s just assume DB is stupid.

Verse rubbed some people the wrong way with how he transferred. Apparently, it was all done via text message. I mean, if Brian Kelly can resign in a text, I don't really care about a 20 year old kid doing it either; but the coach in me would much rather have him come to my face.

We didn’t offer you because you left via text. Even tho you’re a stud athlete and could help us significantly.

I hope that’s not the reason because that would be sad. Perhaps he is extremely shy and was afraid to let his coach down because he was going to pursue better options.

I’m hoping DB is better than that and will do his do some looking into why he did it that way.

That's partly true. While they can indicate they do not wish schools to contact them, there isn't a section for them to indicate they only want contact from XX school. There is a comment section that compliance officers can type things in, but in the time I've spent around the portal, I've never seen comments utilized by indicating they only wish to hear from BCS schools or other restrictions.
