Yes! Phil Steele picked SU to go to a bowl game, not 4-8 ! Miracle! Picks us 4th in the Atlantic with a trip to the Pinstripe against Northwestern. Oh that Phil

Unless we go to the playoff game, I will take it. I am not sure how the new landscape is going to look outside of the playoff. We have had some great success at the PSB and fans travel very well. Also, the advantages of being tied to the Yank's is always a plus. I know that many like to travel to warmer climates but for me this is football... teams, weather, grass, mud, etc... #Nostalgic. Now if the Spurs could start a bowl and we could get tied to it I would be ecstatic.

That's a solid list of bowl wins over what, 5 years ?

I am so glad that the former head coach is gone, and that we have this current coaching staff led by a head coach with incredible passion for this school. I see only good things ahead for this program.

Better yet... duh dah dunh duhh duhhh I'm loving it!

That is a great photo! Says it all, WVU headed down, Syracuse reasserting control.

To the OP: If this prediction is in line with Steele's record, we will have double digit wins! I know that would be overachieving, but this staff and this team seems to want to overachieve.

Doug Marrone had great passion for SU, far more than Shafer possibly could. As DM said, he owes everything to SU. He left where he belongs to come rescue his school's football program. He righted the ship and left it in good hands. Shafer would be just as enthusiastic if he was coaching Southwest East State Ag & Tech. Its not an SU thing, its a Shafer thing. At this time, that is great for us.

Anyone else think a bowl in Florida would only boost our growing efforts at recruiting that state?
