Does anyone feel for Dungey like I do? The guy is a one man show out there and is the only alpha on this team. Put him on any of the bigger programs and his record, stats, and viewership would be so much higher.

The best we may do this year is 6-6 which is fine and we maleness a bowl but I feel that Dungey deserves much better. We had a quick preview of where we would be without him and it is not pretty!

Thoughts on feeling bad for our fearless leader and captain Dungey?

What?

No.

Dungey definitely made plays and is the star, but Custis was spectacular also, and I would call him an Alpha without the emotion. The running game was good and it's the first game. Dungey is the lead but there is more to this than just him.

He is clearly the MVP of the team, but I'm not sure if someone who isn't part of the team can assess how many "alphas" we haveon the team, particularly after game 1?

I love that ED is our QB, but he isn't without his faults. He did not have a good game throwing. He missed a bunch of wide open passes and got bailed out by Custis' one handed catch for a TD and a big catch by Neal on the sideline.

No I think the kids thrives with the underdog role he's in and apparently been in his whole career. It what drives his competetive emotion and will continue to fuel him going forward.

Actually we’ve had a preview the last three years and that’s why some of us would prefer a little less hero ball

We were the best offer he had and he's made the most of it, so no.

I love his intensity and his competitive spirit but he has to start protecting his body better. Part of greatness is staying healthy.

I agree. I think everyone (fans and coaching staff) wishes he would learn to slide when running to avoid having his season cut short again.
